פוסט-אימפרסיוניסטי, והתמקד בציורי נוף, טבע דומם ודמויות מקומיות.  \n \n \n פייר נולד בפולין ולמד אמנות בבית הספר לאמנות בוורשה. במהלך מלחמת העולם השנייה שירת בצבא הפולני, ובשנת 1943 עלה לארץ ישראל. בארץ למד ציור אצל שמואל טפלר, עמו גם שיתף פעולה ביצירה. סגנונו מבוסס על ציור פיגורטיבי, אך כולל שכבות צבע דינמיות, משיכות מכחול עזות ופלטת צבעים מאופקת אך חיה. הוא הציג תערוכות יחיד בגלריה כ\"ץ בתל אביב (1962), והשתתף בתערוכות קבוצתיות במוזיאון תל אביב לאמנות ובתערוכות כלליות של אמני ישראל בשנות ה-60. פייר לא היה מזוהה עם קבוצת אמנים מסוימת, אך יצירתו משתלבת בשיח של האמנות הישראלית המוקדמת, תוך
