הדפוס של ברוך בוכבינדר ואחר כך בדפוסו של נתן ניימארק (לעיתים מקום הדפוס ניכר לפי חתימותיהם של פועלי הדפוס במסכתות השונות). \n \n \n במהדורה זו תוספת מראי-מקומות בתלמוד (\"מסורת הש\"ס\") ומראי-מקומות בפוסקים (\"עין משפט\"), במסכתות שלא היו בהוצאות קודמות, נערכו על ידי המגיהים של ההוצאה הנ\"ל, ר\u2019 שמואל מהלברשטט, ר\u2019 יוחנן ממזריטש, ר\u2019 בנימין וואלף מפרנקפורט דאודר, ר\u2019 אלימלך פילטא ממזריטש, ר\u2019 יהושע פאלק מליסא ור\u2019 אברהם דיין מקרוטושין. \n \n \n בראש מסכת ברכות נדפסו \"פריווילעגי\" (כתבי-זכויות) שקבל המוציא לאור מהקיסרים יוזף הראשון וקארל השישי, ממלך פולין ודוכס סכסוניה פרידריך אוגוסט, וממלך פרוסיה פרידריך ווילהלם. בגרמנית, באותיות עבריות. הפריווילגיות וההסכמות ניתנו למדפיס גוטשאלק. \n \n \n כתב זכויות הנזכר היווה פולמוס גדול סביב נסיבות ההדפסה של מהדורה זו: \n \n \n מהדורת התלמוד הקודמת שהודפסה בעיר פרנקפורט דאודר כלתה לגמרי וכל עותקי הגמרא כלו, בעל שטר זכויות ההדפסה יששכר בערמאן פנה שוב אל השרים ההממונים בענין הדפסת ספרים כמקובל, וביקש להדפיס את התלמוד מחדש עקב מחסור העותקים, ובנתיים שמע זאת המדפיס מיכאל גאטשלאק (שהיה מעורב ג\"כ בהדפסת המהדורה הקודמת) שטען כי זכויות ההדפסה נרכשו על ידו ומעתה לו זכות ההדפסה הבעלדית, המלך פרידירך ווילהלם הכריע כי רשות ההדפסה נתונה לגאטשלק בלבד. במשך תקופה המשיכו השניים בעימות זה, בין לבין הגיעה לגאטשלק שמועה כי בנו של אב\"ד פפד\"מ הרב אריה ליב התעתד להוציא לאור מהדורת תלמוד באמשטדרם, אז בהבינו כי השעה דוחקת החל למהר ולהביא ההדפסה לפועל, לאחר הכנת תכנית ערוכה הוחלט להדפיס חלק מן הכרכים בפרנקפורט וחלקם בברלין. על אף קבלת האישור מתנגדיו של גאטשלאק הצליחו במקביל לקבל זכויות הדפסה ובשנת ת\"פ החלו להדפיס את התלמוד במקביל, מלבד צרה זאת גאטלשק הואשם בידי אנשי דת כי ספריו מכילים תכנים כנגד הדת הנוצרית, הוא מצדו שכר משכילים שהעידו שאין הדבר כן ואכן אושר לו למכור את מהדורת תלמוד זאת.מהוצאה זו נדפס טופס אחד על קלף, רבה, ונדפס בעשרות מהדורות חוזרות, (חלקם עם תיקונים והוספות), והינו אחד מספרי ההלכה הבודדים בני-זמננו שזכה להיות רב-מכר שנדפס במאות-אלפי עותקים [לדברי ההוצאה לאור הספר נדפס ונמכר בכעשרת אלפים עותקים לשנה].  \n  \n עם צאת הספר לאור התעורר פולמוס רב נגדו, ע\"י גדולי הרבנים ופוסקי ההלכה מהעיר בני ברק, שיצאו נגד הספר [עקב גישתו המקילה במקצת (לדעתם), ועקב אי התייחסות מספקת להכרעותיו ההלכתיות של בעל ה\"חזון איש\"].כפי הנראה שזו הסיבה שהסכמתו של הרב וואזנר נדפסה רק בהוצאה הראשונית של המהדורה הראשונה, והושמטה מכל המהדורות החוזרות של הספר.  \n  \n נדיר למצוא ספר מן המהדורה הראשונה בו מופיעה הסכמה זו [הספר במתכונתו של מהדורתו הראשונה נדפס במהדורות חוזרות רבות, עד לצאת המהדורה המורחבת בשנת תשל\"ט, ובכל אותן מהדורות לא נמצאת ההסכמה הנ\"ל]. \n  \n אחד הנכדים סיפר למערכת שלאחר שמרן הגר\"ש וואזנר זצ\"ל הסיר את ההסכמה, הסבא הגדול שלח מודעה לעיתונות דאז ובה נאמר \"מי שקנה ממני את הספרים בוודאי קנה על דעת הרבנים שהסכימו על ידי, ואשר על כן כיוון שמרן הגר\"ש וואזנר הוריד את הסכמתו יוכל הקונה לקבל את כספו בחזרה \" \n כמה ענווה והתבטלות הייתה בין גדולי הרבנים. \n  \n בפריט שלפנינו קיימים שלושה עותקים מיוחדים של מהדורה ראשונה בשינוי תוכן ההסכמות. \n עותק ראשון עם ההסכמה הנדירה של הגר\"ש וואזנר זצ\"ל, ללא הסכמת הגר\"מ פיינשטיין זצ\"ל הכוללת הערות חשובות על הספר.  \n עותק שני ללא ההסכמה הנדירה של הגר\"ש וואזנר וללא הסכמת מרן הגר\"מ פיינשטיין זצ\"ל  \n עותק שלישי עם ההסכמה הנוספת של מרן הגר\"מ פיינשטיין זצ\"ל  \n   \n כפי הנראה שלאחר שהוסרה ההסכמה, מייד באותה העת קיבל הרב נוייברט זצ\"ל את ההסכמה של מרן הגר\"מ פיינשטיין זצ\"ל. נדיר למצוא עותקים של המהדורה שאין בה את ההסכמות לא של הרב וואזנר ולא של הרב
